MEIS EYEBROW POWDER REVIEW

This is probably the best find i found in RM2 shop. An eyebrow powder for RM2? That's a big victory in bargain hunting. I should've bought a lot of this while they're still on the shelf because usually once they're gone, you won't be seeing the same thing ever again.

There are three shades in the palette. From dark brown to lighter browns. They're very pigmented. The brush that comes with it is not rubbish. It works and it's a keeper! The brush is stiff, making it easy to draw on the line. There's a smudger on the other side of the brush and also worked great.

Here are the swatches i made. Maybe not of the best quality. But in real life, it really is pigmented. I even use this for my contouring. Works great. There's nothing negative to talk about this powder. Everything about it is fine.

Pros:
💜 Very affordable
💜 Pigmented
💜 Functional brush

PROFUSION BLUSH REVIEW

I got this 5 colour blushers from one of the RM2 shop around UPM Serdang. The pink colours were very tempting.

The packaging from outside is very simple. Nice thing about it is comes with a mirror. And a brush, but i lost the brush already. It has a subtle perfume smell to it. Like always, perfume in a makeup is a huge turnoff for me.

There are five colours in there. Some of them are matte, and some of them are shiny. I like all of them. The colours are fantastic. But one thing i cannot stand is the fact of how powdery it is. I mean, VERY powdery. I've used a lot of cheap makeup in my life, but none of them is as powdery as this.

So, though the colours are cute, applying them to your cheeks could be a pain. Too much of the blush would fly to your eyes, and nose and everywhere. However, you can avoid this by applying it with your finger or a sponge. Yeah, that could really help. But most of the time i would just skip this blush palette and use my other blushers.

Pros:
💜 Very affordable
💜 Cute colours

RM2 KAJAL REVIEW

The appearance of this kajal is really cute. Super mysterious girlish with that ribbon on top. I got this from RM2 shop (Eco shop) in Port Dickson. Don't think they still have this kajal there cos it really depends on luck when it comes to RM2 shop. They bring in cosmetics as they like. No specific brand or kind. Just enough to fill up that cosmetics isle. Bumped into a good quality product is really a pure luck.

This is how it looks like when you take the cap off. Very tempting right? Oh, i love the look of this kajal. Very satisfying. It has no smell. Just a pure stick of black kajal.

When you glide it on your skin, it goes on very smoothly. Buttery smooth and smudgable. Most of the days i use this as a base for my black eyeshadow. You definitely need to set this up with eyeshadow because just like lipstick, it'll stay shiny and won't dry.

Using it alone is a big no no. Lasting power is not good if you use it on its own. If you set it with eyeshadow then it'll stay on all day.

Pros:
💜 Very affordable
💜 Cute packaging
💜 Creamy texture

Cons:
💔 Doesn't set

BB BEILIZI COMPACT POWDER REVIEW

Bought this from an Eco-shop cos I wanted to experiment with lighter shade of powder to brighten up the centre of my face.

Just like every cheap makeup product, it's a gamble. Brought it home and quickly tested it out. At the first try I quickly disliked it for its smell. It has a very strong perfume smell.

The texture of the powder is quite course. When you applied it on your face, it'll look very powdery. So far i don't know what to do with this powder, i just laid around in one of my makeup storage bag. I guess i lost in my gamble with this one.

In conclusion, it is not worth it. Though it's cheap.

💔 Course powder

CATHY DOLL WATER SPLASH ESSENCE REVIEW

KOKURYU SUPER SUMMER CAKE REVIEW

In Malaysia, this particular powder is called Bedak Arab (Arabic Powder). Not sure why is it called that way. But it is really popular.

I got this from my sister. Her complexion is very fair, so this shade of powder doesn't suits her at all. So she handed it to me. This Russet shade fits my skin tone well. It is more like a medium beige with pink undertone. Though i have yellow undertone, i simply fix it with contouring.

Sorry about the scars. Somebody tried to pick up the powder the back of a brush. ^.~

This powder is very packed. I mean veryyy packed. No matter how many times you use it, it'll stay the same. The texture of the powder is very fine. And i really like this kind of texture.

To apply it you need a damp sponge and apply it to your skin like how you'd apply a liquid foundation. It gives you a full coverage. It mattifies your skin and the oil control is very good.

It is almost perfect for me except for the fragrant. It smells very much like an old lady's perfume and it's not girlish/refreshing at all. What a bummer.

As this powder is quite on the drying side, it's better to apply a generous amount of moisturizer before applying it on. Brush application with this powder won't work at all cos it is super compact. My brush can't lift the powder enough. So using a damp sponge is really the only way for us to use it.

Pros:
💜 Finely milled powder
💜 Mattifying
💜 Full coverage
💜 Great oil control

Cons:
💔 Horrible smell

MARCKS' BEAUTY POWDER REVIEW

I bought this in Jakarta during my visit there. The price was super cheap. Can't really recall the exact number but i believe was around RM2.50. I know, insanely cheap! I read lots of reviews on this product from most Indonesian blogs, so maybe it is worth a try?

The size of this powder is big. As big as my palm, that kind of surprised me. When i went to the shop, i asked the seller to show me Marcks' powder. They placed two powders of different shades in front of me. I repeated myself a few times, "I want Marcks'. Marcks' powder."

In my brain i was imagining cute little loose powder. But there in front of me, so big in size. I took a second look at it and yep! It is Marcks! I certainly made a fool of myself in front of the seller.

So the powder came a secure cover like that. No sponge or anything. No small holes on the cover like how a loose powder should. If you want to use it, you have to open it up.

The powder is quite course to my taste. They're not finely milled. The smell is VERY VERY strong. And i have to admit it bothers me. It is not a pleasant smell. It smells like an old lady's perfume. When you applied to to your skin, it will leave this layer of powder on your skin and its quite noticeable. It is definitely mattifying, but doesn't look natural. Only after some time of leaving it on, it would blend in with your skin and appear natural.

Pros:
💜 Very affordable
💜 Mattifying

Cons:
💔 Coarse powder
💔 Doesn't look natural
💔 Horrible smell

OLAY TOTAL WHITE REVIEW

Got this from 7 Eleven Thailand for 10 Baht. The nice thing about Thailand is they always sell sample size skincare. Which is great! You don't have to spend money on their full sized products only to test them out.

I remember around 10 years ago Malaysia has this specific kind of Olay sold on our beauty isles. And they were cheap. Even i had the chance to buy a tube of it. Couldn't really remember how it was wearing it. After a while, Olay Malaysia they discontinued it. There must be reason for it right?

Well lets go right into my review. I'll make it short and compact.

The colour of the cream is beige. And the smell of this cream is amazing!! Applying it was easy. It absorbed right away into my skin. Light and leaves a glow on your skin.

I applied it early in the morning and by afternoon, my skin is still ok. My skin is oily combination. So, being a little oily is normal for me. Using it, didn't make it look superrr greasy though. Oil control is good!

However, applying it under a make up is a total disaster. My skin looked blotchy and uneven. After working on my makeup for half an hour, i ended up washing my face off because of how horibble it made my skin looked. The other day, i tried giving it a second chance. Same thing happened! Weird thing is when i applied my regular moisturizer, my skin looked fine. So it was definitely this Olay that messed it up.

I used it for 4 days straight as my day cream. My hope was high as i really want brighten my face. The 5th day, i noticed small acnes on my forehead. I guess this cream was the culprit behind this. It even clogged my pores. Especially around my nose. The white head suddenly appeared like crazy making me look like i have a strawberry nose. I scrubbed every other day and with my regular moisturizer i never had this kind of nose before. I stopped using this cream right away.

This cream is a disappointment for me. Especially when the name is Total White as it didn't do the job pretty well. I didn't see any brightening effect at all. I tried to like it cos the smell is really wonderful. But i just can't continue. At least it's just a sample size. :)

Pros:
💜 Very cheap
💜 Smells very good
💜 Give a nice glow to your skin

Cons:
💔 Clogged pores.
💔 Doesn't stay put under makeup.
💔 Cause breakout.
💔 No whitening effect.
